I have been vocal coach for over 10 years having studied under Jo Thompson.  I run choirs and support individuals.  Although I specialised in Jazz vocals at univeristy, I am classically trained and have achieved my Grade 8 ABRSM qualification.  I have successfully worked with students through these grades and am eligible to enter students through the system.  I have experience working with all ages although feel it is important for young students to sing music that is appropriate for their developing voice and so combine fun sing-a-longs with music theory to embed the key fundamentals of Music.  I also work with trained Musicians to improve technique and stamina for gigs - my philosophy is that it is important to understand the anatomy of how the voice works so that you can better understand how to look after you vocal chords.  Feel free to contact me using the CONTACT page, book a lesson through my online booking system or email lucy@costello.me.uk for more information.
